Katie is a growth champion, culture advocate, and pet lover.
As CEO and part of the founding team of Pet First Pet Insurance, she championed creative distribution strategies, innovative product enhancements and led aggressive growth for the business. She built and led a high performing team which helped position the business as an attractive acquisition target.
Katie guided a successful sales process resulting in MetLife’s acquisition of Pet First in January 2020. Inside MetLife she oversaw the integration of Pet First and positioned the organization for further, more aggressive growth as MetLife Pet Insurance.
